I have a question about how access to attractions is handled for someone who can't stand for long periods of time and either walks with a cane or has a visable knee brace.

None of the brochures or faq I've seen gives tips on this?

Will we be given a seat to wait at, asked to use fastpass, ???

Anybody have any experiences with this?

You will need to go to Guest Service and they will give a you GAC (Guest Assistance Card. You will need to explain what accommodations you need because of your knee.

I was under the impression that someone with a visible disability (ie, cane or knee brace) doesn't need to get a GAC. But that shouldn't be a problem.

At Disneyland we are normally sent through the fastpass queue or asked to use the exit of the attraction. Will this be generally true in WDW?

Thanks

There aren't any Chairs or places to sit unless you use a wheelchair.

I have a bad knee, and when I know I will need a seat while waiting I take my Kmart bought, lite alum. folding camp stool. I can unfold it and sit where ever I need to!
