Walk up to Cape May Cafe for Breakfast?

Hi,

I've been looking for a week and can't find a breakfast reservation at Cape May Cafe for later this month....

Has anyone done a walk up to Cape May Cafe and been successful? I know that some restaurants won't even consider walk ups, but I've been successful at Ohana (right at opening) and Akershus (waited 30 minutes).

Does anyone know Cape May Cafe's "policy"? We're going on Tuesday, 10/25 during food & wine so it will be pretty busy overall at Beach Club....

I was staying at Beach Club last year during Columbus Day weekend and they took a walkup ahead of us on the Sunday of the holiday weekend. It was a later time, I'm thinking around 9:30.

I've seen the same thing. And also had walk-ups taken before us although we had an ADR.
