Walk up success?

Part of your trouble is that you are only "two." There are only a few two-topper tables in the restaurant. The system will not book your party of two at a four-topper even if there is availability.

For LeCelier, I'd walk up at about 3:45 (15 mins before dinner opening) and just ask the girl at the podium. I had a 4:00 opening time reservation and I'd say by the time we left 5-5:15 or so, the restaurant still wasn't quite filled yet.

I am sooooo excited for you!!:banana: Persistence pays off!!

I love Le Cellier!! Here's hoping you get CRT!! pixiedust:

I could be wrong, but I have a feeling walk-ups are going to be easier to get at Le'Cellier for dinner once they go signature. Guess I'm just underwhelmed with this place. I really wanted to love Le'Cellier, but just didn't. I hope it really raises the bar (not the booze one) and not just it's prices in a few days when it goes signature.

I have been trying every day to possibly get reservations for CRT and Le Cellier. Has anyone had walk up success? Should we go right when we get there and ask for availability that day or wait until we want to eat and then ask?

It is just 2 adults and we are flexible with eating times.

Thanks![/QUOTe

Try lunch at Le Cellier or try going in around 8 AM for reservations as they drop each day when people cancel. Is how i finally got CRT Tried every day for three weeks but finally got it last fall 2010. :thumbsup2

I just got CRT too. It is 9:30 pm (didn't know they did reservations that late!), so I will keep trying for something earlier, but at least we are in!

When exactly is LeCellier going to be a Signature resturant? And does anyont know what time it opens for lunch? I haven't fought the crowds for an ADR there-the one time I ate there, someone else had made ADRs. Now I'm thinking it's time to try a walk-up for lunch!

Le'Cellier will become a signature restaurant on March 1st for dinner. Lunch will continue to be a 1ts restaurant. They begin serving lunch starting at 11:30am (unless that changes). My guess would be that Le'Cellier is going to be much more difficult to get a walk-up during lunch than it will be for dinner since it is a 1ts at that time. Of course this would also depend on what the menu looks like.
