Walk up "Magic Your Way " tickets, prices?

Just pre booked our park tickets with the virgin rep in orlando and have been quoted $266 for a 5 day magic your way ticket plus hopper, only on Disneys web site it shows when booking from florida the price is $231.64, there are alternative tickets for florida residents which i do appreciate we can't get, just don't want to pay out of our shopping money for these tickets if i can help it. We fly monday so its too late to buy on line elsewhere

We went in December, and took a photo of the gate ticket price board (for planning our wedding) - so the price then for a walk up gate ticket was:

5 day adult $206, plus $45 for park hopper add-on option, so $251 as of December... and I don't think the prices have gone up (prices Disney has quoted us for tickets in May haven't changed for sure!). Price does not include Water Parks, Pleasure Island or DisneyQuest. For these add an extra $50.

Either way, sounds like Virgin may not be the cheapest option!

Hotels are now between 12 1/2% - 13%, depending on the county. It's somewhere around 6 - 7% now on tickets (I can't keep up with our tax rate, it keeps changing!)

Are the prices at resort hotels the same as the gate prices????
