Walk-up for Tusker House?

Has anyone eaten there w/o an ADR since it became a buffet? We really want to do lunch there when we are there in a couple of weeks (a last minute addition to our dining plan). I tried to get an ADR for lunch on our last day and they didn't have anything until 2pm. That is too late for lunch for us. Just wondering if we might have any luck walking up...

In June I arrived when breakfast was over to see if we could get in for lunch and we only had to wait until they started letting the lunch crowd in. I think we were the 2nd family in. Good luck!!!!!

We had a ADR on Sunday August 24th at 1:00pm. I was surprised to see a lot of empty tables. It looked like it would have been no problem being a walk up that day.

We ate there on Sept 12 (middle of free dining) and the place was half empty. You're best bet is to go early (right when breakfast end).
