Walk-up CP for breakfast without ADR??

Hey everyone! When we went in July I was able to get a last minute CP breakfast ADR on a day the park opened at regular hours so we got to get into the park before others which was AWESOME! I'd love to do that again but I know our chances are super slim because we just decided over the weekend to go up during Thanksgiving. Of course when I called dining they had nothing for CP except for a lunch on the day we are driving home. Granted that is better than nothing. But I was wondering is it possible to walk up to CP first thing when they open and get in within a reasonable time? I know some restaurants turn away walk-in's when its super busy but if I got there as soon as the park opened would I have a shot?

If it helps we will be there 11/27-11/29.

Well, being there when the park opens is probably your best shot, but it's a very slim one, especially since you're going over Thanksgiving. No harm in trying, though. I'd keep calling to see if an ADR opens up, even after you arrive at WDW.

They don't leave rooms for walkups and overbook planning on a certain number of no shows - but you could get lucky - you always have a shot - unlikely things happen.

You can't walk up to CP before they open since they won't let you through the gate without being on the ADR list - you'll have to get there first thing after the PARK opens.

Actually when we were there in July I had my confirmation # handy but no one ever asked for it as we were going through the gate, and that was a good hour before the park opened too.

You got lucky - whenever we've had early reservations we had to be cleared on the list - AND have watched people be told "no, I can't let you in without an ADR." I wouldn't count on getting through without an ADR.
