Walk to TTC from GF?

I know that you can walk from the Poly to the TTC to take the monorail to EPCOT and since the Poly is a short walk from the GF, I'm thinking it can't be that long of a walk from the GF to the TTC (and yet I've not heard of anyone doing this ). How long would the walk be from GF to TTC? Would it be faster than taking the monorail all the way around?

It's probably a 20 minute walk from the GF to the TTC. If you had to wait for a monorail, it might be faster to walk, while going to the TTC, but returning it's definately faster to take the monorail.

It's a nice walk, but not a time saver.

We stayed at the GR in April and walked to the poly, then to the TTC, then took the ferry to the MK and then walked to the CR, and then took the monorail back "home" to the GF one afternoon...we wanted to check out the other resorts, and the shops. It was more fun than it sounds......lol

I agree. The walk is NOT a time saver; and, depending on the time of year in which you're going, it's a hot, sticky walk. It's the same amount of time on foot to the TTC as it would be by monorail. Save it for when you want to explore the MK resorts by foot, like the previous poster indicated.
