Walk to MGM?

I assume you mean the Boardwalk villas. Anyway, it took us a little over 10 mins to walk back. It was a rather nice walk too.

From BWV it's about 10 minutes at a brisk pace, or 15 at a more leisurely one.

I find I enjoy the walk at the beginning of my trip, but by the end I am so "walked out" I take the boat. Even the less than 5 minute walk to Epcot becomes a drag eventually. I am physically fit and exercise frequently, so it's not that I don't like to walk usually. But after a few days of hiking around the parks I almost always opt for the "lazy" way!

For the way back, take the boat but get off at the Swan/Dolphin and walk over the bridge to the Boardwalk. That is much faster than waiting on the boat. We like to walk to MGM but agree that the walk home after being in the park for a while can be tiresome.

We use the "Owowow!" test to decide whether to walk or take the boat. If we've already walked 20 miles and our feet yelp in pain with every step, then over the water we go!

imho one of the finest things about owning at bwv and bcv is the walks to mgm or epcot, especially first thing in the morning
