walk to kidani pool ?

How long does it take to walk from the value villas at Jambo to the pool at Kidani approximately? The points are the same for a value 2 bedroom at Jambo or a standard view studio and a savannah view studio at kidani.... party of 8

We love the pool at Kidani but for the jacuzzi and washer/dryer my choice would have to be Jambo! But buses pick at Kidani first and I like that...UGH!

What would you do?

The walk is short, maybe 10 min. but you don't have to walk. They have a shuttle van that takes you to the lobby at Kidani. Roundtrips run aprox. every 20 mins or so.

I would go for the 2 bedroom in Jambo and I love Kidani! I love having the kitchen and washer/dryer!

It depends on the group setup. The Jambo master bedroom has you walk in view of the living room while you go to the bathroom. I know the studio is less private, but you don't have another family in there, too.

It would my family of 6 plus my MIL and BIL.... I was thinking me hubby and baby in master, BIL in living room... MIL and my older three in studio.

Also, if the shuttle isn't readily available, you can take any Park bus to return from Kidani to Jambo. Unfortunately, the Downtown Disney bus is the only one that goes from Jambo to Kidani. Its probably easier to take the shuttle from Jambo rather than trying to catch a DTD bus.

As much as i do not care for Jambo's bed/bath setup, For that group it sounds like Jambo would work out better for you compared to studios.

It is just a 10 min walk you can get a shuttle if one is avail. We found that they are either there really fast or they take forever more than 20 min. We prefer Kidani first one and first off.

Are we allowed to pool hop between Kidani and Jambo?

We tried to get through the gate once and our KTTW card wouldn't work.

We like staying in Jambo, but we also love the splash area at Kidani. The walk is 10 min. and I prefer that over waiting for the shuttle. Yes, you can pool hop between Jambo and Kidani if you are staying in either one. We found the gate locked and also had trouble with our key card. One of the Cast Members helped us one time, another time it worked, and another time it didn't work and someone coming out just held it open for us. I think the space you will have in your room at Jambo will be well worth it.

Thanks everyone! This would be our first stay at Jambo and my MIL's first time ever staying at a Deluxe resort. She stayed at All Stars when it first opened in the late 90s so I think she would be WOWed by Animal Kingdom Logde!

We have a value 2 BR booked at Jambo in January and I'm very excited about it! If it's warm enough to swim we will definitely walk to Kidani's pool, but we will definitely be visiting Sanaa! We didn't find the walk to be bad at all this past Spring. Enjoy!
