Are there any resorts that have an easy walking path to Epcot? Particularly to where the monorail is?
Thanks!

To my knowledge, the only resorts that allow walking to EPCOT are Yacht and Beach Club and Boardwalk. And those put you into EPCOT through International Gateway, so you'd have to walk through Future World and exit the park to get to the monorail. There are no walkways from any of the other resorts as far as I am aware.

You can walk to Epcot from the following resorts; The Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Clubs, Swan and Dolphin. That being said, you walk to the entrance that is called the International Gateway. It drops you right near the bridge between England and France. So although it is very convenience to the World Showcase, it is a far walk back to the front of the park for the monorail. The resorts on the Magic Kingdom monorail loop - Poly, Contemporary, Grand Floridian - you could take monorail from your resort, then transfer to the Epcot monorail. I hope that answers your question.

As others have said, you'll need to make a choice if you want a monorail hotel (Magic Kingdom) - Poly, Contemporary, Bay Lake, Grand Floridian - or an Epcot hotel (Boardwalk, Beach Club, Yacht Club, Swan and Dolphin). If you stay at Poly, you do have easier access to the TTC, which gets you to Epcot. But if you stay at the Epcot hotels, you're near the back of the park and the monorail lets you off at the front of the park - with a good distance in between.

I believe the shortest walk is from the Beach Club resort, when we stayed there is was only a 10 minute walk to the International Gateway (which is at the back of Epcot, not the front where the monorail is) It was a lovely walk ( :

Just to add- while you can walk to Epcot from the Epcot area deluxe resorts, you can only access the monorail from there during park hours. So if you are trying to get to MK before RD, its not going to work. And you can't do this to get back from MK after Epcot closes.

And one more requirement, you'll need a park hopper type pass as well.

... And the bus is quicker from Boardwalk to monorail resorts. Even transferring to monorail after. The walk to the monorail from BW is a trek.

Totally agree! Our favorite place to stay since the kids have grown up and we're not running to the Magic Kingdom every day!
