Walk to cost effective dining

I agree with one of the above posters about IHOP. The prices were much more steeper than our prices back home. When we got the bill I was floored.

in Downtown Disney has an appetizer of chicken or beef nachos for $9.99 that is HUGE and WONDERFUL!! We were going to get it, and an entree, but the waitress convinced us to see the size of the nachos before we ordered entrees, and was she ever right!! My adult DD and I could only finish half the nachos! It could easily feed a family of 4... and you can get it half beef/half chicken if you want to! be sure to try them! We ate in the main restaurant... I don't know if you can get them at the to go window.

The takeout taqueria offers a HUGE plate of nachos (without meat) for $6.95. For $2 more you can add carnitas, chicken, or grilled steak. You can also get an order of 2 tacos (again, with your choice of meat and sauce) for $5.95. DH and I shared one order of tacos and nachos and couldn't finish it all. They also offer side dishes like beans, rice, chips w/guacamole that can help round out shared entrees. Their drinks were pricey though. But the food is really good, quick, and affordable.
