Walk to Captn Marvins?

I want to find out if Captain Marvins is within walking distance of the dock in Grand Cayman? If so how many minutes will the walk take? If not is it best just to grab a taxi? Does anyone know the cost of a taxi to Captain Marvins? I am trying to have this all planned out in advance so I know when to leave the ship, etc... I will be grateful for any help with this!! Thanks.

When you get off the tender go to the left and its about a 10 minute walk or so -- you will have to cross the main road since they are on the opposite side as where the tender docks.

We walked it with 3 kids last Sept with no problem at all.

we walked it easily with a 5 year old and a 3 year old (who was carried part of the way). Go immediately left from the tender area and walk along the shoreline for about 10 minutes. It is across the street (we had no problem crossing at a light).

We walked and walked and walked and finally saw Cap'n Marvins in the middle of these shops. We just walked left and kept going. It is across the street from the water but if you keep on the side of the water you can go out on the pier. Usually someone is fishing and the water life is somewhat interesting.
