Walk to Captain Marvins?

I am getting extremely obssessive about planning this trip. My next question is: Can you walk to Captain Marvins? Has anyone done this or does everyone take a cab (how much)?

On their website it says it is about a 6 minute walk; however, it looks much longer on the map.

We walked back from our Nautilus semi-submarine tour which was a bit further than Captain Marvin's and it was a very easy walk, so, yes, I would say Captain Marvin's is a very easy walk.

Yes, it took us about 8 to 10 minutes to walk to Captain Marvins. Not a bad walk.

Easy walk. We did it with our 8, 6, 2 1/2. Off the dock, go left, somewhere along the way cross the street, yellow building, can't miss it. About 7-8 minute walk

I was pregnant and we had 4 little kids plus 6 adults and it was nooooo problem. Capt Marvin's is great!!!

I guess I was concerned because when we did Captain Marvin's on our honeymoon (we stayed at a hotel), I do not remember it being anywhere near the port.

Gloria, the Office is near the port, the place where you get on board the boat is different. You will take a bus from the office to the dock.

RellingTwin: That explains everything. I knew the boat was not near the port. Also, I guess the office moved, because I know it was near our hotel on the beautiful seven mile beach since we walked there to pick up our video. Thanks for your input!!!
