Walk me through breakfast reservations

OK, help the introvert.

My adult daughter and I will be in Disneyland for a week around Labor Day, we are running the 5K and the 1/2 (not both!).

I bought meal vouchers from ARes and am thinking of using them for Minnie and Friends breakfast.

I am interested in the earliest seating, what is the proceedure?

60 days out will be between the 29th of this month and the 1st of July, depending on which day we choose to eat.

What do I need to do on that day?

(and does anyone else have a better suggestion to meet n greet for a couple of adults?)

I think Minnie and Friends or Surf's Up with Mickey (at PPH) would be the best options for character interaction. At M&F we have seen Minnie, Tigger, Eeyore, Capt Hook, Mr. Smee, Fairy Godmother, Max and a few others. At SU, you would see Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Daisy and Stitch.
At the 2 month mark (if making reservations for Sept 4, you would be able to make a reservation on July 4), you can either call Disney Dining at (714) 781-3468 or you may e-mail them at dine@disneyland.com and request the earliest available seating.
Arrive to the restaurant 10 minutes prior to reservation time. Make sure you bring the voucher(s) or receipt with you. You will present that to the cashier before being sat.

Pretty sure it will be amazing. It's sort of a celebration of Big Birthdays........55 and 25. This will be my 3rd trip as an adult, her second.

Try the online, it gives you time options to select and has worked great for me in the past
