Walk-ing Back to Disney! COMPLETED 10/16! A Fall 2014 PTR!

Yay Hercules!!! I love that movie! We just watched in two week ago! Love the pictures of the girls flexing and Olivia's face!! Heehee Hercu-cheese! Love it!

And the pic with your mom, you and Maddi?! You ladies all have the same lovely eyes! And oh man, I want some of that cinnamon roll!!! :woohoo:

Sounds like things have been going good and busy for you! Good luck on the getaway contest!!! Yay for Mickey mail too! I'm sure there was much flailing when they arrived! Hee!!! :cloud9:

Wow, that is one heck of a cinnamon roll! We went to the San Antonio Riverwalk once, many years back (I have relatives in Austin). I think it was St. Patrick's Day and dyed green at the time. Maybe it's not difficult, but that hairdo with the star sure looks impressive! Love her Merida hair afterwards, too. :rotfl: Yay on Mickey Mail! And, as usual, the girls are so cute! :cutie:

Hi there!!! :wave2:

So much to say!!!! I just love everything!!! I haven't seen the new Tsum in the stores yet!!! I NEED THEM! ALL OF THEM!!! soooooo squishy adorable!!!

Every time i see anything with the alamo.. I think of Pee-Wee herman... Sorry but i crack up every time i see it..

Your girls are the cutest little busy bugs!!! SO CUTE!!! I just love her hair and need to know how you did it. :thumbsup2 Hercules! Man oh Man look at the girls showing off their HUGE muscles!

So glad your 4th was good!!! :cool1: Hope you win the adventure of a lifetime!

the cinnamon bun... I am in NEED of a cinnamon bun the size of my head. in need.

you Mom is ADORABLE! your all so srinkin cute! your WHOLE FAMILY!!!! :thumbsup2

Love the Hercules movie night. I loved the poses. It looked like the girls had fun with it. Good job.

I am a mess with my daughter's hair. I have mastered the pony tail. That is it. With her doing dance team next year, I guess I will be needing a crash course on hair styles. I can do a bun, but they rarely have their hair in a bun. She would love it if I were able to do the cool stuff.

That cinnamon roll is crazy. It looks fun but scary. I wonder if you could order one and send it to WDW. That would feed us for breakfast for awhile.

Hope you are having a great day.

You are such a clever young lady…Hercu-cheese? You need to Pin that idea! Both of your movie nights looked so fun and delish! And those muscles on your little sweeties…awesome!

:cool1::cool1::cool1: for Mickey mail!! I just love it whenever it comes. I should be getting something soon I think. I got a countdown for our first trip and when I changed the dates I was expecting another one, but so far nothing.

Those goodies look soooo fun! I'm sure the littles are going to just love them! DIS meets are the best!

I CAN french braid, but can't imagine how to do that star. It was so cute. And I do love the Meridia hair afterwards too. Bonus!

Okay, so cinnamon is one of my favorites and all the more so when it is in a roll. That roll was unbelievable! First thing I thought about was, what size ovens must they have, followed quickly by how do they get it cooked all the way through?? They must put the frosting on with a trowel!! And my last thought was…how can I get one of those?….Now!

I did see D~'s shoes on FB and you totally outdid yourself on those. She is going to want to wear them every day. And I know she'll get stopped a hundred times by people wanting to know where she got them. Great job!!!

Adorable pics from Hercules night!

That cinnamon roll!!! :scared1:

Aww those stuffies are so cute.

Love the girls' 4th of July outfits :) Wow Olivia's hair looks awesome! And still looks awesome when it's taken out- amazing curls!

The Doc costume looks great!

Sounds like you all had a great 4th!!! :thumbsup2 Love San Antonio, only been twice but great both times. :)

Ok you need to post step by step instructions on how to do that star. That is amazing and so cute, would love that for the girls hair our HDDR night :thumbsup2

You are very clever with your movie nights. I made trees for the girls last summer when they visited.......good job. And Herucheese......lol cracked me up!

Raina gave me a special project to do for our dismeet so I have to get busy with that......

Those Tsum Tsums are so cute! I was just in the Disney store last Thursday and I didn't see those. I am going to have to go back and seek them out and see them in person!

Teehee, thanks, it was a great week all around. Hercules was fun and that cinnamon roll was sooo good, I swear we brought like half of it home with us it was so big!!

Wow, that is one heck of a cinnamon roll! We went to the San Antonio Riverwalk once, many years back (I have relatives in Austin). I think it was St. Patrick's Day and dyed green at the time. Yea, they do dye the river green, so lame, lol... and not much of a difference in its normal color :rotfl: But its fun to go down there every once in a while and walk around and enjoy it. I will be down there a lot more when they open up the Margaritaville restaurant soon!!!

That hair was insanely easy, I will have to post a tutorial!

Thanks, thanks, thanks! You're too sweet!!

Too funny on the cinnamon roll, but you're right, they must have some HUGE ovens! And they basically POUR the frosting on! If you ask for more they bring you a container of it to pour even MORE on!! Omg... the middle is the BEST, so soft and yummy...mmmmmm... I need to go again. LoL!!

Hercules was so fun! We dont go all out, but I try to think of little things to make it special!

SO glad you liked D's shoes! She should be getting home from vacation tomorrow so she will probably go grab her package on Monday. I am so NERVOUS! I really hope she loves them in person. You cant always see all the little imperfections through photos. And I am def not perfect with them!!

The star hair WOULD be cute for HDDMR!! I will do a small picture tutorial! It really is super easy!!

Thanks on the kind words, we are having fun with the movie nights and fun summer activities.

OOooOOo! A project, huh? That sounds fun! I really need to get going on more of my own projects!! Time is slipping away!

I am SOOOOO excited that it is getting so close and I am possibly even more excited for you guys, being your first time and having planned this for SO LOOOOOOOONG!! I can't wait for you to see all your hard work and planning pay off! I am just happy I get to see you DURING your trip so I can grill you all on how much fun you're having already!!! SQUEEE! :goodvibes

YES! LOVE the AK outfits! So happy I found those!!! ::yes::

16 days until FP!!! EEEEEEEEP! I am pretty nervous but overall excited to get it done! I hate not knowing if I will get everything the way I want it. I think I will relax some once it's taken care of, nothing to do but wait after that!! Well, and work on outfits, packing and all that.. lol

Your movie nights are adorable. I need to get on the ball with those.
Love the Doc costume! Super cute. :)

Thank you!! We don't go all out, sometimes we just make it special with a themed snack or activity, and thats really all it takes to make it special!

So happy with the Doc costume, it fits great and seems comfy enough for the parks, just gotta get some pink glitter shoes!

Your 4th of July looked like a lot of fun. Mickey mail is always the best!! Can't believe how fast September is coming.

I have a question about painting shoes. I asked you on my report but then I though - duh she probably won't see it on there. Can I ask what brand/ type of acrylic paint you use and what kind of sealer?
I'm trying to decide if I want to try paint next time but there are so many options I have no idea where to start. Oh and what kind of brushes?

Actually I just use the cheap 50 cent acrylic paints you can find anywhere, like Walmart. I have several diff brands and don't really have a fave. I seal with scotch guard! And then for brushes I bought a few packs of detail brushes at Walmart for about $7 each pack. The only other thing I use a lot is black and white paint eons the ultra fine tipped ones to draw outlines and such!

So yeah, we first headed to a fun little diner downtown SA that is famous for its GINORMOUS chicken fried steaks and 3lb cinnamon rolls! It was featured on that show Man VS Food once!

I'm pretty sure that's the place my cousin ordered me a giant cinnamon roll from when I was pregnant 2 years ago ... it was HUGE!!! She said she saw it on the Food Network and thought of me, since Cinnabon was my only craving during my first pregnancy. The only downer is that she happened to order it as I was about to go into labor...so it was delivered while I was in the hospital and it was a day or two before my husband brought it to me, on top of all the chaos that ensues after having twins... well, I didn't get to enjoy it as I should have since it was a few days old by that time (travel from TX to WI didn't help!) I bet a fresh one would be incredible, though :worship:

indiana-jones-boulder-o.gif

I want you all to imagine the Indiana Jones music playing in the background for today's post! Okay, go!

:music: Da Da Da Daaaaaa Da Da Dunnnnn Da Da Da Daaaaa Da Da Dun Dun Dunnnnnn :music:

Tee-heee... if you haven't noticed, my post revolves around Indy today! :hyper: The hubs is a huge fan, he even has one of those pricey Harrison hats they sell. So, of course, last trip we had to see the Indiana Jones Stunt Show for the first time, and we all really enjoyed it.

Originally, our plans only included one Hollywood Studios day, and I didn't make plans to go to the show again, as there were things we missed I wanted to focus on instead. But now that we have 2 days there (well one and a half) and the rumors are flying about Indy closing in HS in the near future we decided it MUST be a priority again this time!

So, in honor of it, I made Chris and I some shirts to wear!!

I am not gonna lie! I am pretty proud of how well these turned out! I love the detail work on the names to match the Indy logo! I had so much fun making these and the hubs really loves his, so I am so happy I made them!

Of course, I had to have my handsome hubby model his, and then I decided to have Liv take a silly pic of us both in them with our Indy hats on!

I simply CAN NOT WAIT to wear these! The girls will be sporting their Disney Junior Sofia and Doc outfits this day, so we will all have our names on our shirts, its gonna be so FUN!

I am thinking when I get all the clothes finished up I am going to do another post with ALL the outfits in it, just so they are all in one place, since most are scattered throughout this PTR. Maybe just a good recap of each day.

In other news... I also FINALLY got half of Lori's families shirts done too!! Hers are a little more detailed, with smaller pieces I have to cut, so I only did 2 of the 4 so far. These are Lori's (Goofy) and her hubby's (Mickey). I will have to post them all together when I finish up the girls ones too.

Making these is so fun once I start, and now that I have a few done in the past couple days I am soooo in the "mood" to do more so hopefully I can finish them up in the next week! I still have to do Lori's girls shirts, and mine and Chris' kissing Mice shirt, and then I need to finish the leaf pattern on the girls Lilo dresses. After that I think I am actually DONE with painting clothes! WOW! What will I do? Oh yeah, I will still have to gather halloween costumes, and then I need to finish up some shoes!! :lmao:

The weeks seem to be FLYING by, and I am so glad! I only have 13 more days until FP+!!!!! I am so anxious for this. I really hope I can get A&E on the day we need, the day the girls are wearing those outfits, otherwise I am going to have to switch things around, and we all know what a pain in the butt that can be. :faint: But I shall think positive thoughts!!!!!

74 DAYS LEFT! We are spending lots of time as a family talking about our upcoming trip, looking over menus and thinking about what we want to eat at each place, watching youtube video of trips and rides, and listening to LOTS of Hanson in preparation for the concert at F&W! I swear my girls will probably be the only 2 & 5 year olds well versed in their songs there! :rotfl:
