Hello! I have been following along, but I haven't been good about keeping up. I had been busy planning our DCL cruises for next May and October out of San Diego and feverishly planning our DLR trip that starts on Sunday!!! You inspired me to do my PTR, but now I'm on my actual TR. You can find it on my signature page. BTW, I can't believe how much your girls have grown so much!

Luckily Chris was able to google it and turns out it is a very common problem with an easy fix and he fixed it!! WhOOOOOooOOOO!

ugh--I hate car problems. i'm of the mind that if you put gas in it and change the oil, they should just work. I know what you mean about finding stuff out after the purchase. I seem to always get ones that tend to make brake noise and then am constantly freaking out because I think my brakes are going out.

why isn't there a picture of your daughters hair??? I think i stared at it for about 15 minutes trying to figure out how you did that!!!

So glad Chris was able to fix the car. I find there is almost nothing you can't google!!

Love the headbands on the girls. My 7 year old granddaughter has long hair and won't wear anything to keep it back. Nothing. I wanted to french braid it so badly when we went to the pool this weekend, but no go. I'm so glad when I see girls who love to glam up their hair!

Hey, I've forgotten things like that as well. I think we all have. You have a hectic life and lots on your mind, so don't sweat it! I know, though, I always feel like the biggest idiot when I do that sort of thing.

Lol! I saw your photo on FB and I see what similar items we have, I picked up some more today so I think I am done!

I agree on the car! Luckily, Chris was able to fix it, some electrical thing. I am SO glad I got Donald too! Makes me smile when I look at them. That is SO my theme, love it!

Thank you, I had a great 4th, about to share! Glad everyone liked that photo of the girlies, they were looking pretty chic in their headbands. Maddie still tends to take hers off after a while, but Liv will keep them on.

Hey all! Hope everyone had a fantastic 4th of July weekend! I know we did! We crammed so much stuff into it, it was a blast, I can't wait to share!! Let me start back on Wednesday, because we had a MOVIE NIGHT!

Teehee, it was sort of a last minute movie night, we decided to watch Hercules and I was able to pull together some fun stuff rather quickly with things we had on hand...

For our meal we had "Hercu-Cheese Sandwiches"!!!! I crack myself up! I was pretty proud of thinking of that because for once I made that one up all on my own!! Go me! We also had a Hercules puzzle, so we actually did an activity along with our movie this time!

Then, on the actual 4th of July us and some friends decided to go to San Antonio and be tourists for the day! Hahahaha, backstory, church is doing a series on family, and to promote family time they made these fun punchcards of activities, one being "visit a tourist trap" and all the families who complete the activities, with photos, are entered into a drawing for a family getaway! (Also, very few families are still in the running bc one item was an event that passed already!! Yippee!)

So yeah, we first headed to a fun little diner downtown SA that is famous for its GINORMOUS chicken fried steaks and 3lb cinnamon rolls! It was featured on that show Man VS Food once!

The place is called Lulu's, and this my friends, is Lulu...

Soooo good, and CHEAP too! Win/win!

Then we headed to the Riverwalk... we had fun playing on a small playground there and walking around, and of course, we had to go to the Disney Store that is there!

Have you guys seen these new, ADORABLE, little stuffies, called Tsum Tsum's?? They are PRECIOUS! And pretty affordable too! I LOVE them and want EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. No joke... I've decided to collect them, and I started my collection with Mini-Donald. I lurrrrrvvvveeee his teeny little bill!! Eeeep! Mini's are about $5, Med $12ish, Giant $25. Not too shabby! They stack well and are so SQUISHY! Go buy them! NOW!

Next we hit up the Alamo. We had to try on these coonskin caps, Davy Crockett, represent! We didn't spend much time there because it was HOT and we've been to the Alamo no less than 1,454,789,789 times.... lol, that might be a slight exaggeration...





Afterwards we went home to nap and prep for staying up late for FIREWORKS! We went to a local place in town and hung out until dark to watch the show, the girls had fun playing and they looked SO CUTE in the red, white and blue! I also did Olivia's hair in a fun star!

FYI: That hair is SO EASY to do! Really, I swear, I am NO hair genius, I can't even french braid. So it really is that easy! Olivia got so many compliments that I did it that way the next day too for a party we went too, and I may do it up for Disney like that one day as well!

The 5th of July was perhaps even more awesome than the 4th, bc, as I mentioned, we went to a party, for Chris' family, but also because we got MICKEY MAIL!!!!

LOOK. WHAT. CAME!!!

SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!! I was SO excited! It was still 83 days out when this came! Wow! So early, and I had just called with my flight info the week before. But it didn't have the coupon book or the Micket luggage tags, someone on a FB group I am on mentioned that if you call DME directly to give them flight info (which I did) they will go ahead and send these out, and you will get the rest later. So I guess that is true! Either way, it totally made my day!!

Also, later that morning we got a package delivered too!

Fit's great, very happy with it, it's also pretty thin, which is actually good bc she should be able to keep cool and comfortable in the park. I went searching today for part of Chris' costume and found what I was looking for, so I will have to post his once I get it all finished up.

Sunday, we decided to so another spur of the moment movie, we didn't do much for it, but I did make a themed snack... we watched Tarzan and had Jungle Trees with chocolate animals!

Oh, and I must include this pic from yesterday... after taking Olivia's star out, which she had Fri, Sat and she left in Sun... this was the result:

She insisted we leave it like that bc it was just like Merida's hair! Adorable...

And FINALLY, today I did a little shopping and finished finding little things for my Dis-meet gifts...

*SIGH* Just typing all that was exhausting!! Obviously, I have been busy! Oh, but the hubs did fix the car issue, so that is all good now! And I did get back to the post to mail Lori and D~'s shoes! I am gonna wait for D~ to reveal the shoes on her page before I post anything, though some of you may have already seen them on FB...

Other than that I just have a bunch of clothing projects to finish up... hopefully I will get to some of those this week! I am sure cutting it close this time!

It looks like you guys had an amazing weekend. I think that is really cool what your church does. What a fun thing to encourage family time.
Those Tsum Tsums are so cute! I was just in the Disney store last Thursday and I didn't see those. I am going to have to go back and seek them out and see them in person!
I love your movie nights. I especially love your little girls flexing for Hercules. So cute. Hercu-cheese sandwich! That's great!
