Has anyone done this fairly recently? I've searched and all the reports I see are very dated. I'm interested in doing one this summer. I know the details but just would like someone with firsthand experience to comment.

Just did it yesterday. :-)

It's remained fairly consistent over the past few years, with the exception being that you now visit the Dream Suite instead of Walt's Apartment. For the last few times I've done it, the attractions gone on have been Alice, one 'wildcard' (last time Haunted Mansion, this time IASW), and Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln.

Thanks for your comments. One thing I wondered was, had it gone back to featuring the Dream Suite. I may have wished to see his apartment a little more, but won't be unhappy to get a look at the Suite. How big was your group? And lastly, how close to your tour date did you book? I would be going mid-July and am wondering if it will book up fast. I can't imagine too many folks wanting to plop down another hundred on top of the park ticket, but then there's no accounting for us rabid Disney fans!

Hi just wondering if you happened to get a pic of the lunch menu? Thanks.

My family went Thursday and enjoyed it. We opted for the afternoon tour as we figured that was a worse time for attractions.

I will say, with 16 people on our tour it was a little disjointed and ran long so we only got to do one attraction (Alice) but they gave us fast passes for Haunted mansion, which we didn't use because we didn't want to fight through the crowds to get back there at the end of the day.

I thought it was only offered once, at 9:30 in the morning. Good idea to do the afternoon tour for that reason but I'm thinking morning will suit me better in mid July, considering the heat and crowds later.

Yes, while we didn't want to "miss" touring a morning, the crowds, especially in New Orleans square really impacted the tour.

Dream suite is very cool.

If you know the date you want to do the tour, I'd call today. I've tried multiple times to call at like 6 weeks, and have all the tour spots full. You can book it at 60 days.

60 days?! The copy on the website says as early as 30 days out!

I called to ask a question about the tour 32 days prior to our trip and was told by the agent that I could reserve our tour. In fact, I had to take the afternoon spot since the morning was sold out. I don't know if you can make reservations at 60 days, but it is definitely more than 30 days.

We are signed up for the afternoon tour next month! Can you let me know about the lunch? Do they have you eat first or do you still eat after the tour? If after, about what time did you eat? I am just trying to plan out our day. I am thinking about doing rope drop, then eating a late breakfast in the park (about 10:45am). If we then eat again about 3:30pm, I am thinking I will cancel our 6pm reservation and just get a snack later. THANKS.

We did the morning tour in April and we ate after the tour and before the Dream Suite. The lunch was filling and we too were not that hungry by dinner and wish we had cancelled our res at Cafe Orleans. I assume it would be the same for the afternoon tour?

I saw on some youtube videos that during this tour, you also visit Club 33, any truth to this?

When we did it several years ago it included Club 33 - but what that mean was seeing the lobby, nothing more. I don't think it's been part of the tour for awhile though.

We ate after the tour, about 3:00 PM. I would have much preferred to eat first, essentially I had a chili cone queso about 11, the sandwich at 3:00 PM and then a light snack/meal at the end of the day.

I loved the tour, however if I had to do it over, I would have likely saved it for a second trip (that we will now plan because DLR far exceeded our expectations).
