Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour-Reviews?

WE are thinking of doing this tour during our trip to DL next month. We are disney visa cardholders so we get the 20% discount. Was it neat? What things did they talk about? This will be our first DL trip, so we thought it might be neat to try out one of the tours.

We took it last November. I think the tourguides name was Linda - whatever her name was, she was awesome. I've read many books on Disneyland, so there wasn't much new information for me, but for most people they wouldn't know these things. It was my first time there so it was great to see those details. Included lunch which wasn't special, but the guide ate with you so you could ask more questions. Also included a pin if you are into that.

We did it the first week of June. It was my wife and I. We know alot about Disneyland and knew that going in. It was also our first and only tour we've ever done. We are also Disney Visa Card holders so the discount was a factor as well.

I don't know how much you want me to spoil it for you? Our tour guide was named Kelly and she did a pretty good job. I can give you alot more if you want it. You tell me how much you would like.

Thanks for the responses! I think we are going to do it, but I was just curious if people thought it was worth the money and time to do it. I'm hoping it will be interesting to see some spots and here some info about DL that we don't know.

I think the tour is excellent for Disneyland newbies. It tells you a lot about the history of Disneyland itself and Walt's ties to it. Longtime Disney fans will probably already know a lot of the information shared on the tour, but what makes this tour special is the focus on Walt Disney. For obvious reasons, no other park can ever have a tour like this one.
