Where can I walk in on a moments notice, and have sit down meal with my Dining Credit? (ie not very crowded restaurants.)

I don't think there are many where you can do that b/c of the free dining that is coming up and ADRs being hard to come by. You can always put your name on a list but just be prepared to wait. The only time we have done this was last year at Biergarten and had to wait 50 minutes for a table of 4. We would have had to wait an extra 1/2 hour if DS2 and my niece who was 1 at the time wanted to sit in a highchair and not on our laps.

I would think that the buffets might be easier to get into if you have a small party or if you go right at the beginning or the end of the mealtimes. Good luck!

How about Nine Dragons, Marakesh, Olivia's, Turf Club, Maya Grill. These are suggestions and you still might have to wait.

I do not think there are any good places in Disney that are not crowded. Most are booked solid these days. Please tell us that you do have at least some ADRs made?!

I don't think Beaches'N'Cream allows advance reservations...so it might be a good option for you. But it is first-come, first-served so don't go at any peak dining times or you will be waiting a really long time. Another option might be Planet Hollywood as they don't allow ADRs until later in the evening (I can't remember the exact time). If you went for dinner around 4pm or so, it might not be too long of a wait. For the most part, walking up and being seated immediately at any Disney table-service restaurant is almost non-existant.

You could try making some ADR's when you get there. We have changed things at last minute before, sometimes it is a great way to try places you haven'y or would not have tried. Since it is free ding it could be tough to walk up & the wait times could be long.

I second the Marrakesh idea. Also any of the resort restaurants (not on monorail) would be a good choice.

Hmmm...this is a tough one. Are you going to be there anytime soon? You know, Free DDP is starting in about a week and a half, will be a problem for sure, but you can always chance it...just be prepared to wait. Otherwise, CS meals would be an option. :goodvibes

If you are going during Free Dining...I wish you luck. However, if you go to guest services at your resort, you can check if any restaurants have availability and make an ADR then....

Yacht Club Galley at the YC, ESPN Club doesn't take ressies would be the only two I could think of....

It looks like you are avoiding the Free Dining if I've read your signature right. In that case, at the WS try Marakkesh Restaurant or the Biergarten. At MGM, try Mama Melrose's. You can also check at Guest relations at any park and see about cancellations...

I agree with YC, ESPN - though Flying Fish won't work. You might also try Chef's de France for lunch or the Rose and Crown for lunch. Actually I really like the Harbour House which is CS but has quiet tables upstairs and a nice menu.

I always see the Plaza restaurant in MK mentioned as a not-so-busy TS place. Pretty standard fare - burgers and sandwiches.

But I've seen lots of people turned away from the Plaza as we were waiting to be seated.

Things have really changed the last few years. It used to be relatively easy to go to a nice TS with not too much advance notice. Now we are seeing reports from folks just back that there were people being turned away and no waiting for a table either.

Your best bet is the less traveled route. Many of the resort restaurants are easier to get in (not chef mickey or ohanas or any other major draw)

Call Disney Dining or when you check in talk to the concierge desk about dining options. They can help try to locate some options for you.

ESPN does not take ADR's, Beaches nad Cream, 9 dragons tends to have more availability, garden grill. Try for lunch rather than dinner.

Good luck and let is know how you make out
