Walk from POR to POFQ?

How long is it to walk between these resorts? Is this the fastest way to go? Just wondering if it would be convenient to run over for lunch, or to grab breakfast at the other resort on the way into the parks. It will be just me during the day (DH at a conference) so I don't mind a short walk, but I have no idea how far it is. Thanks!

It's kind of a long walk but worth it. The sceenery is nice and you'll get some exercise! I would do it if you have no time restraints.

Part of the timing issue, is where are you starting. POR is a fairly large resort and if you are far from POFQ, it will be closer to a half hour. If not it will be less. You can also get from one resort to the other by boat, although I am not sure what time the boat starts, probably in the afternoon since it is going to DTD. The walk from one resort to the other is very pretty, and when we stayed there, my kids did it without complaint.

We started from the food court area at POR and it took us around 15 mts. to walk over. It's definitely worth it if for nothing else just a look around the other resort. You can always take a bus from there to visit a park, or else ride the boat back to your resort when you're done visiting.

It's really about a 15 minute walk from POR to POFQ. There isn't a sit-down restaurant at POFQ, just a food court, so you probably won't want to hop over to POFQ for a meal. The pool with the dragon slide is cute and the themeing is very nice, so may be worth a walk over to just check it out.
