Walk from GF to Poly

Can you walk from the GF to the Poly easily to eat? How far? We will have a 4 yr old with us.

much easier to take the monrail from the poly to the GF. too long of a walk and no sidewalk.

When did they remove the sidewalk?? We have walked between the two resorts on previous occasions.(Bing birds eye clearly shows it). Was it blocked off with the new construction?

Oops, I meant from GF to Poly. I would have to go all the way around on the monorail and wait at Contemporary right? I wonder if construction is blocking paths? I'm concerned about construction of the QS restaurant inside during our stay the week after Thanksgiving. Not sure how chilly it will be to eat at the new pool bar for QS.

We took the boat over there but can't remember if we stopped somewhere else first.

Boat goes MK > GF > Polynesian.
The path between the two properties should be open.
Really, I wouldn't worry now about the temperature in two months. But it seems more efficient to take pool-cafe food from one's own resort back to eat in the room, rather than walk ten or fifteen minutes (or wait for transportation) in that same temperature.
