WALK from Epcot to Boardwalk

It looks close on the map, but how long is the walk from Epcot to the Boardwalk? More to the point, if anyone knows, from International Gateway to the dock where you catch an Illuminations Cruise.

It is close. I walk from Epcot's International Gateway to the main boat dock in 5 minutes or so, unless I stop at ESPN Club along the way . Add another 2 or 3 minutes to walk around the building to the location where they dock the pontoon boat(s) used for Illuminations cruises. Is this were you board these? Certainly no more than a 10 minute walk total, unless you too get distracted along the Boardwalk itself. Let's see, ESPN Club, Spoodles pizza window, the hot dog vendor, Seashore Sweets for ice cream, BW Bakery, Big River Grill brewpub...

There is also a boat from the International Gateway to the main boat dock (which is roughly midway along the BW), and the BW boat dock is the first stop, but I generally get there faster walking.

we always beat the boat leaving from the international gateway back to the Boardwalk....

Very short walk to Epcot from BW, we always beat the boat walking to BW. Remember, you usually have to wait for the boat at the dock. Also beat the boat back from MGM also. Especially if there is a line to get on. But if there is no line and you get on the boat right away, it is quicker to BW if you get off at the S/D and walk to BW from there.
