Is this doable and safe? Meaning is there a lit walkway?

We did it lots of times last September. It was a pleasant walk. I was with a couple of friends, DH and DD. Didn't feel unsafe at all but maybe if I had been alone I might have been a bit wary when I had to walk past the slightly wooded area.

I am pretty sure it is fine though. It seemed lit from what I remember and there were normally people around. You could catch the boat home if it was very late I suppose. Early evening will most likely be busy and bustling.

We did it last December multiple times. From what I can remember it is lit the whole way too.

It's probably relatively safe...as safe as you are elsewhere on WDW property...but I probably wouldn't do it alone at night...there are some areas that are a bit wooded.

I did it when I was there in May.

It is very well lite.

It is much, much, much faster than waiting for the DD buses.

the little bit of woods is closed at night.

I would only walk this if I stayed in the Congress Park area.

springs would be a bit of hike to it.

Thanks everyone. I'm thinking after a night at PI it might be a pleasant walk to get the fresh air :)

be sure and do it a couple of times in the day time.

there a bunch of side paths (once through there forest area)

you don't want to get lost at night.
