Walk from DLH to parks?

Curious how it would compare from others who have stayed at Universal or one of the Epcot resorts. Is the walk from Disneyland Hotel to the parks shorter, about the same, or longer than:

Boardwalk to Epcot
Hard Rock to Universal
Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios
Portofino Bay to Universal

I would compare it to the walk from the like the gift shop on the Boardwalk to IG in terms of time. It’s all flat compared to having to go up and over the water bridges.

It feels about the same as the walk from Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios parking area (before you make that right around the lake) . Portofino to Universal feels like forever, so no. Its farther than Hard Rock. Similar, maybe to Royal Pacific walking to CityWalk. The difference is your walking through Downtown Disney, so it feels a little shorter than it is. Google maps says .5 miles.

Lol. To me, walking through that outdoor mall makes it feel longer than it is.

It is just about the same as the walk from Boardwalk to International Gateway at EPCOT or the walk from the Contemporary to the Magic Kingdom gates. Maybe slightly shorter.

It is shorter than the walk from Boardwalk to Hollywood Studios.

By WDW standards, it is not a long walk at all. We really enjoy it. It is a walk right through Downtown Disney. Last year they changed it so you have to go through security to get to DTD, which means security is now back by the hotel which made the lines shorter and was great in our opinion. (That is the only security you go through for either park). Being a WDW vet it would by no means be considered a long walk by WDW standards. We love staying at the DLH!

The walk is a 1/2 mile from the center (pool area) of the DLH to the turnstiles which is about the same as it is from Boardwalk to EPCOT.

The monorail opens at park open so it wouldn’t be an option for EMH or rope drop.

I have not been to WDW but we walked from DLH to the parks in December and it was 5-10 minutes depending on how fast we walked. Sometimes we even stopped to pick up coffee at Starbucks. We also had a 6 yo and 10 yo with us. We were also staying at Frontier tower which i think is the furthest.
