Do you have one?I ask because we do E02211 is ours.I was wanting to see if your brick is still in place. When we got ours in 1994,Disney I think said if the brick was in place for 10 years the contract would be complete. After that they could remove at any time.Ours was still in place when we visited in May.I did see where it looked like some bricks had been removed. Is your brick still in place or has it been removed? Our brick is located near far right entrance que of MK.Where is your's located? Will be sorry when they do remove ours but have enjoyed seeing it over the years.Wish they would allow you to buy your brick when it was scheduled for removal. :goodvibes :earsboy: :earsgirl: :wizard:

We were there last week and our brick is still there. DH got it for my as a wedding present, and we just celebrated our 10th anniversary. He says he is waiting for Disney to hit us up for a maintanence fee LOL to keep the thing there. I did notice some blank bricks scattered throughout tho.

Our brick is E18 342. If you exit MK and head toward the Resort buses, it's over there.

Is there a way to look up where your brick is? My mom and I were talking the other day and I remembered our family getting one years back, but my mom couldn't remember where it was, nor could she find any paperwork from when it was bought.

We got our brick in 1994 and had the same understanding. It's located at the foot of the monorail exit ramp in front of the MK. We tried to find out if we could extend the contract, but couldn't get any answers from Disney. Ours was still there in December 2004. I like the idea of getting to buy it when it's removed!

I recently saw that one person found their brick had been moved to another spot (to make room for some kind of structure), but it was only relocated and not removed.

Our brick is located just as you exit the ferry. We checked on it this past monday when we were there. The cast member at guest relations said that none have been removed but some have moved. Ours is still in its original location from when we bought it in 94.

Good question! I have one from the first year they sold them. (wast hat 94?) I wanted our anniv date, since we spent our honeymoon there. No go--back then it had to be our name and city. It was there a few years ago, but didn't check last year. I will have to make a point of looking for it in Oct!

Mine was located just under the monorail tracks where the bus path meets the ticket entrance. It was a really good location. Almost right in front of the Magic Kingdom. However is has been missing for a couple of years now. :( Thankfully I took pictures of it.

We purchased our brick in 94 also and happy to report it is still there as of June 05 no one can even walk on ours as it is in a roped off area at the base of the monorail station..I saw a post that they are no longer available to purchase for the walkway but I would desperatly love to purchase if they ever decide to dig em up. DH and I bought that brick prior to having DD and he passed away in 03 it's the only way she knows daddy loved WDW as much as she does. :flower:

i was surprised ours was still there. i was very nervous with the installation of the security checks bc our block is when u first walk in to the right. thankfully its still intact

We bought ours at the beginning of 1995. It is right near the Ferry exit. It was still there last January. We will be going to WDW in about 5 weeks and will check again. Ours moved once, but in the same area. After we saw our brick for the first time I took a picture of it and then had it enlarged to about 1/2 of life size. Then I had it mounted in a frame with the original certificate that we got after purchasing the brick. It hangs in the front hallway of our home and is always a conversation starter when someone new visits. That way we'll always have our "brick" even if it's moved or destroyed. Hopefully it will stay there for years to come! Kathy :earsgirl:

We have a brick right in front of the MK--we saw it last visit in 2000 I HOPE that it is still there in October! We got ours in 1994 for our honeymoon, and we have pictures in front of it on each of our visits--the last one was when our oldest DD was 2 and our 5 yo was not even born yet!! I would love to get a picture of both DD's in front of it!! We had moved and weren't living in our original town (that is on the brick)--now we are living back in town and my DD's would think it was soooo cool! I have to look at our old pics to get the brick ## I know I don't still have the papers these days!! But i remember that it was right outside of the MK enterance slightly off to the right!!

We check our brick on every trip! It's in front of the MK entrance on the left - it's in the 200's but I don't recall it, I just know where to find it! It was a Christmas surprise for DW and kids.

they reserved the right to remove them after 10 years. they did move ours but it is still there.

Sounds like yours was right near where ours is. Ours is E06853, just a little down from yours, Danny1649, and I saw it on my visit about a week ago.

No But you can still do the Leave A Legacy at Epcot. we did not do it in 2000 but plan to do it this time around. The line was to long for it in 2000.

does anyone know if you can still buy these bricks? :wizard:

My DD and her DBF were just in WDW in Aug. and she said she heard people

saying you can renew your brick now that the 10 yr time frame is here.

Has anyone else heard of renewing your brick?

Either that or Disney should let you buy it.

They'd make a fortune just selling the brick!

You could renew, will check on Dec visit. :goodvibes :wizard: :earsboy:
