Walgreens? Downtown Disney Area? Where is it?

Another poster indicated there is a Walgreens in the downtown Disney area. Does anyone now where this is located?

From DD take Hotel Plaza Blvd to Rt 535 (Apopka-Vineland Road), turn left (North), go about 1/2 mile, Walgreen's will be on your left.

The directions are correct. I just want to let you know that it is actually off Disney property. It isn't in Downtown Disney.

From DD take Hotel Plaza Blvd to Rt 535 (Apopka-Vineland Road), turn left (North), go about 1/2 mile, Walgreen's will be on your left.

There is also a Walgreen's close if you turn right (south - towards Kissimmee) onto Rt 535. It will be on the right shortly after the I-4 overpass.

You can either retrace your route to return to WDW - or by taking a right out of the Walgreen's parking lot onto Rt 535. It's another right just past the Marriott resorts onto Rt. 536. This road becomes Epcot Center Dr. when you enter WDW property.

I just prefer taking right turns in what is usually heavy traffic filled with vacationers who may not know where they are going - in a car with noisy kids.

Just wanted to warn you that 535 and Apopka-Vineland split at the 1st stoplight North of the DTD light. Keep going North on Apopka-Vineland to get to Walgreens. 535 heads West at that light and then wanders NW>W around the North side of WDW.

I also go to the one turning to the "right" on Apopka. They are pretty busy, due to the College Program students. They are one of the few Walgreens that I found that keeps their digital machine open at all times. Others tended to close down and not reopen until 9:00 or so the next day.

BTW There is one I believe MUCH closer on 192, its just as you exit WDW property on 192, just up a little bit (there is also a secret entrance to WDW property here too) We are always there and back in 10 minutes

There is one there too! I always managed to end up there when I was lost! However, they are one of the stores that shut their digital machine down for the night. That didn't help me when I was always in the parks late!
