Wow! Thanks for posting this.

I must say, just reading this makes my head hurt :headache:

I'm not sure I'm willing to put this much work into shopping at the drugstore. I think until I get the hang of it, I need to draw the line at grocery shopping. Teh only way I could do the walgreens thing too is if you posted a "Walgreens for Dummies" type list and just said "Go Buy X, Then you get Y" or "Go buy A and send a form here and you get B". I realize you probably think that's what you've already done but I must humbly admit, much of it is over my head!

Also, one of the drugstores(I think CVS) had a B1G1 for a penny type sale going on and I looked at the flyer but it was kind of beyond me to figure out if these were actually good deals or not.

I'm a penny pinching newbie....go gentle on me.

Thanks for posting. I noticed the ad and a few of the deals as I thumbed through the paper Sunday. I haven't gotten to our Walgreens for the Rebate booklet yet so this info. was a BIG help.

Walgreens has SOME AWESOME deals - its something I don't pay enough attention to sometimes and have put that on my list of things to do. I DO ESPECIALLY well in June when they offer the Movie Cash as we are big movie goers and have decided to pay as much attention the rest of the year. It really is worth your time to do the Walgreen's deals.

Another great deal:

Cover Girl Outlast Liquid Makeup is on sale for $5. Buy this, then use the coupon that was in Parade magazine a couple weeks (Buy CG Liquid makeup, get any lipstick free) and get an Outlast lipstick for free. This purchase will then qualify you for EasySaver Rebate offer #6, which is a $9.99 rebate (so you pay out $5 and get $9.99 back).

I did the Kellogg's deal with Pop-Tarts. They were on sale 2/$3, and the coupons we got were for $1/2. I bought 10 boxes, used 5 coupons, and ended up spending $10 and will get a $10 gift card back.

Love that Always/Tampax deal, too. I did it in my mom's name as well, so I won't have to buy any sanitary products for a l-o-n-g time ;) However, I'm not following you OP as far as making money on this one. Perhaps it's due to different pricing around the country, and different coupons. I just know that in my area, the big packages of Always pads were $5, but the smaller ones were $2.79, so buying one package and using the coupon wouldn't add up to enough to qualify for the rebate. I bought 2 big packages, used 2 coupons and got 2 smaller packages for free...so in the end I spent $10, will get a $10 gift card back, and I got 4 packages of Always.

I dont' have any of the coupons. Does anyone know a site or anythign I can go to to print sunday paper coupons? I'm so bad. I always intend to cut them out and never do. Finally get tired of the paper in the way and toss it. They really help make these deals REALLY good deals. Thanks for all the reasearch on this.

There are links on the GG thread with several sites but you would need to order them. You can't print the sunday coupons online. You will still do ok without the coupons on the rebate items. They have the same cleaners on rebate every month for the most part so you can put those aside for next time when you do get them. :)

$$$ Make money with this one!
$10 GC WYB $10 of always or tampax products
Sale 2/10 - Always pads, buy ONE 24-48 count packages, get a 12-24 count Always pads FREE coupon
2/10 - 5 = 5 paid - 10 RB *** $ make $5
Tampax Pearl Sale 6.99 - Tampax tampons, buy one 36 count or larger, get one 18 or 20 count free (not sure of the smaller size price but this one will still make you money).

Okay, please explain this one to me s l o w l y. I need tampax and always and I have the tampax and always coupons.

So WG has the always pads on sale 2 for $10. I can buy two packages of the 24-48 count for $10. I get 2 packages of the 12-24 count for free. Then I get a $10 rebate. So I got all 4 for free. How do I make money? :confused3

Or I could buy one Tapax Pearl and one Always for 6.99+5=11.99. I get a smaller Always and a smaller tampax free and a $10 rebate. All for $1.99.

What exactly do you need to do to apply for your rebate? I have never done this before at WG.

Sorry! I didn't look at the counts closely enough. You would just come out even with the always/tampax deal. With two kids around I can miss something like that. See, you helped me so that I wont go crazy trying to do this at the store. :) I fixed my OP.

So it doesn't matter what size Always you buy, it's all 2 for $10? Sounds strange, but if that's how it works then I understand how you can make money on it.

No, you are right. I did this while the kids were in the same room with me yesterday. Too many interuptions. I can't until school is back in session so that I can get back to this job. :)

lbgraves, you were right originally. The coupon for the pads reads so that you can buy one 24ct and get one free. So your deal will work!

This thread inspired me to read the Walgreens 7/31-8/6 dealagogo thread. This is what I will do.

Buy $10 Always/Tampax get $10 GC
24 count always sale 2 for $10
P&G coupon 7/31 B1G1F Always 24ct

Buy 2 packs of 24ct Always for $10
Coupon B1G1F -$5
Total $5
GC $10
Profit $5

Colgate buy $20 get $10 GC AND
FAR Colgate toothbrush
Ajax 7 day coupon B1G2F
Colgate coupon $1/1 from colgate.com

toothbrush $3.49
Ajax 21@0.89=$18.69
Ajax 7-day coupon 14@-0.89=$-12.46
Colgate toothbrush coupon $-1.00
Total $8.72
GC $10
rebate toothbrush $3.49
Profit $4.77

Kellogs buy $15 get $10 GC
Cereal on sale $4.29/2
Many people finding $1/1 peelies on cereal boxes

Cereal 2 for $4.29
7 boxes @2.15=$15.05
7 peelies@-1.00=$-7.00
Total $8.05
GC $10
Profit $1.95

This one may be hard depending on if you can find the peelies on the cereal boxes and if the cereal rings up $2.15 a piece. If it rings up one at $4.29 and the second at $0 then you will have to buy more than 7 boxes.

Gillette buy $20 get $10 entertainment cash
Venus B1G1F coupon
Soft & Dry EZSaver coupon $2/1

Venus razor 9.99
Venus 4ct cartridge 9.99
Soft n dry 2.99
Venus B1G1F coupon -9.99
S&D EZSaver coupon -2
Total 10.98
Ent Cash $10
Cost $0.98

If all of this works I will get 2 boxes 24ct always pads, 1 colgate toothbrush, 21 cans of Ajax cleaner (hello stockpile!), 7 boxes of cereal, a venus razor and 4ct venus cartridge that I have been wanting to try, and 1 soft n dry deoderant. I will make $10.74 on this deal minus any tax and postage. So for me in my area I will make $7.50. :cool1:

Oh, my! This is complicated, but fun! :Pinkbounc

Sale 2/10 - Always pads, buy ONE 24-48 count packages, get a 12-24 count Always pads FREE coupon

Were these 12-24 count coupons on the Always packages or were they from an insert? If from an insert, which one? TIA.

They were in the P&G insert this last sunday, 7/31. There is also a B1G1 free for tampax coupon. I need those too!

Even if you don't have these coupons, this basically works out to free pads!!! :)

I tried using colors to make it less confusing so it doesn't all run together. As the weeks go by we can see what works best for us. Can you believe that I can't even do most of these since the store was out of stock on so many things? :( I did get rain checks but need to go back to get more rainchecks tonight after DH gets home. I just went to the grocery store & WM with the kids. NO WAY am I dragging them anywhere else. :)

I'm going to go today. I think I'll stop by a gate store and buy another sunday paper (if they have any left). I learned a lesson. I'm going to buy a coupon organizer and clip any coupons I think I ever may need. Then I'll shop the sales ads and look for coupons to use with what's on sale. Thanks for all of the tips. I love getting bargains. I made a list out of what I'm going to buy and it comes out to be $45 worth of stuff and $37 worth of rebates. That is before any coupons. I may be able to get better deals on some of it. Not bad at all!

Okay, I went this morning. I got a 36 ct and 24 ct box of Always for $10. Used my B1G1F for $-5. I will get a $10 GC.

I also got the venus razor (9.99), 4ct cartridge (9.99), and softndry gel (3.29). I used a coupon for the free razor (-9.99) and an EZ Saver coupon for -2 off the gel. I paid 11.28 and I will get $10 entertainment cash.

I got the FAR toothbrush (3.49). They didn't have the Ajax but I got a raincheck. I'm not sure I want to buy 21 cans of Ajax and the 7 day coupon says limit 3, so I may have a hard time buying that many cans. I might skip this deal. I will probably be able to find more colgate/palmolive deals the rest of the month to get the other $10 GC. I am mad at myself that I forgot the $1 off coupon for the toothbrush. I might return it and re-buy it.

I couldn't do the Kellog's deal. No peelies in my store. No biggie. I prefer GM cereals anyway.

All in all, with today only, I made 3.72 minus tax. It would be 4.72 if I had used my coupon.
