Can anybody recall Wal-marts opening hours on a Sunday.

We use the one on the 192 and we are not sure if it is 24 hour on the Sunday.?

Cheers

Brian

Hi

I'm 99% sure that they are open 24/7 including Sundays.

When we were there DH asked an assistant what time they closed. She laughed and said "Sir, we are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year!" We've been at 5 am ourselves - it's usually the first thing we do on our first morning - we love Walmart!!

LOL! What a great idea for the first morning when you're all wide awake and raring to go by half past four :teeth:

Well done! Walmart are renowned for being an unfair company. They pay women less than men for the same work, they move into an area, sweep aside any smaller competitors ( then increase prices when they have the monopoly ) and are generally regarded as a bad employer.

I wonder if US visitors write to their equivalent of the Dis boards asking where Savacentre is ?? LOL!

On a personal level I cannot stand Walmart, too big and grubby looking for my liking. I can understand why people go there....just not for me, thanks!

we used the one on the 192 and did our shopping at 11.30pm we didn't get back to our villa until after 1.30am - bliss no kids!we have 3 and the eldest was seventeen so could stay and babysit her siblings! we got most of the pressies that we wanted to take home with us and lots of household things e.g towels that i am still using since 2000!

Gotta love wal-mart
It's a great way to tire a 4 year old out! lol :)
Dp, love's getting bargains and having a mooch around...

Whilst I agree with some of the ethics behind the anti Wal-mart protests do you not think it is a little bit hypocrytical of you when you consider that you have probably bought merchandise in disney(made in china on a minimum wage) bought in outlet malls
such as Nike, Gap, Reebok, or for that matter any succesful brand .(on a minimum wage)

Lets be honest here. Most goods we buy in the states are made in china, mexico, korea or indonesea.

Whilst we might think its exploitation, what would happen to the local economy of these places if for example Nike decided to pull out?

I am not saying what goes on is right, but what is the answer?

Let me know

regards
brian
