Wal-mart won't take back the digital camara

that my dh ordered on Friday. We canceled it an hour after he ordered it because it wasn't the one I wanted. It arrived today. I checked the account on the credit card and it wasn't charged. I checked the account on WM.com and it shows that is was canceled. I called the store and they said without a charge on the credit card they can't take it back. They said to wait to see if it gets charged and then bring it back. Otherwise I can do want I want with it.

so it looks like I have a new camara. Too bad its not the one I want.

We bought our digital camera from Walmart.com (two years ago). They sent us two cameras and they didn't have any record of having shipped a second camera. We called them and told them what happened, they couldn't figure out how that happened. I think they mailed us a shipping label and UPS picked it up.

Just weird....

well, if it's not the one you want you could always sell it on E-bay. Nice of Wal-Mart to send you a christmas present!

Is there a time limit on when they can charge you? Ask your cc company. If yes, wait until it passes & then sell it on Ebay

Maybe you could donate it to a local charity.

The lady that I talked to said if its not charged within a month its mine.

Selling it on ebay and then donating the money may be the way to go. Or we could just keep it and donate the cost. I know I won't be able to buy one until we get this taken care of.
