I guess the title says it all.

Can I take the $125 I have in my Wal-Mart Savings Catcher, cash it in for an e-gift card, and then use that to buy Disney Gift Cards?

I saw $25 Disney Gift Cards at my Wal-Mart today.

I know a lot of retailers won't allow you to use a gift card to buy a gift card.

Yes unless something has changed recently. You cannot buy a Walmart gift card with a Walmart gift card but you can buy a Disney gift card with a Walmart gift card.

I did it this week! I signed up for the Bluebird account back when they were still doubling the savings catcher rewards if you transferred to the card so I have my rewards transferred to the card and then use them to buy Disney gift cards (my local Walmart didn't have them for a long time so I was glad to see them back!). I have also used the e-certificates that I've earned from other reward programs.

Just checking back in. I was successfully able to do this yesterday.

I cashed in my $132.XX in my savings catcher into an E gift card, and was able to use it to buy Disney Gift Card.

They don't always have the Disney GCs, so I wanted to buy them before they were gone.

Thanks for the help!

Just so you know for next time, you can use your Walmart e gift card at SAMs Club and get discounted Disney gift cards. I did it in May. I believe a pack of 3 $50.00 gift cards ($150.00 total) was $142.00. So, about $8.00 free.

Thanks for the info. I didn't know I could do that, or I would have. Unfortunately, it will probably take a while to earn another $142.00.

We are only spending one night pre-cruise in December, so I thought I would use it for dinner for the 6 of us at the Turf Club. The GCs and a reward card should cover most of the costs (I hope).
