Wal-Mart Questions

Hi All

Were going to be staying at The Pop, and after checking in we will need to go to the supermarket.

My two questions are; Where is the nearest Wal-Mart & how do we get there.

There's three Walmart's about. Two on the 192, one east and one west of WDW. The other is on Vineland Road between the 192 and 417. There is a store locator on the Walmart.com site. The zip code for Pop Century is 32830. This will give you maps and directions.

There is also a Publix on the 192. We find this is better for general food shopping, but the Walmarts has SO much more of everything you can think of. We always fill most of a suitcase with bits and pieces before we go home.

We went to the one on Vineland Road but didn't think it was as big / good as the one on the 192.

Not wishing to change the subject but if you are shopping for food Publix in my opinion is a much better choice.

Agree with Fluffy Bunny and Johnny on this, Publix is a lot better for food.
We tend to use this one most Oppsite The Old Town on 192.

Yep, another vote for Publix if it's only food you are shopping for.

Haven't been to orlando for 2 years but have been told there's a new walmart in lake buena vista, i've only been to the one on 192 and the one near florida mall. Is vineland road at lake buena vista? if so that must be the nearest.

Yes you can buy coolers in Publix. We always buy one of the polystyrene ones.
