First off Mods if this isn't the right board please move me Thanks!

Ok so has anyone traveled to Disney with the Walmart brand of Croc's.. I tried on a pair - kids size 3 - they fit nice , feel like nothing , but looking for others input before I go ahead and pack them.. Thanks Michelle

I have real Crocs and the Payless Airwalks (Croc knockoffs). I like both of them. I tried both the Target and the Wal Mart versions, and neither of them felt nearly as cushion-y or comfy as the others, IMO. Felt more like hard plastic garden clogs than Crocs to me.

I'd try them out on a long walk at home before taking them to WDW. You might be fine with them- I didn't like them.

Have you tried real Crocs or Payless versions yet? You might like them more.

I did try on the payless ones but they were soo HUGE on my foot i couldn't find a comfy fit.. Thanks for the input.. Michelle

I have never walked on the WalMart knock off crocs, however, I have felt them. The material is not even close to the original Crocs.

The footbed of the real Crocs was specially designed by shoe people in Italy I believe, which is the key to their comfort.

For long days in the parks and the comfort of your feet, I would go spend the extra $20 for a pair of genuine Crocs. I wouldn't rust my feet to cheap knockoffs as sore feet is the fastest way to ruin a Disney vacation!

By the way - the roominess in the Croc, as long as you have the correctly designed footbed, is the key to the comfort of the Croc.

I tried the walmart knock-offs at the store one day and I laughed out loud, hysterically. What a JOKE! Don't waste your money, unless you're buying them because you think they are cute and comfort isn't important. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my CROCS, they are so light, lighter than the walmart ones, and SOOOOOOOOO cushiony and comfy. The walmart ones were NOT at ALL, they were stiff and HARD. Total waste of money, only good for looks(if you actually wear them for fashion reasons). CROCS aren't expensive, get a pair. They're half the price of a name brand pair of sneakers and we all used to get those for WDW. I'll never waste my money on another pair of sneakers, only CROCS for me, from now on. :woohoo:

The Payless ones are sold in kid sizes on their website, as are Crocs- your foot sounds little, so maybe the kid szes would fit better.

I think you get what you pay for. Rarely are knock-offs better then the original. The real Crocs are great but I would be careful about wearing knock-offs all over WDW. You will be miserable there with sore feet. MY dbil brought his "cheep sneakers" :sad2: to WDW last year and his feet paid for it all week.

The Walmart kind are simply not the same material. Most Hallmark stores carry Crocs now, check out their selection for kids sizes. Keep in mind that they're supposed to fit big. Your toes shouldn't touch the front of the shoe.

I have pair of Wal-Mart brand and they is comfortable to me. i basicly can't tell th difference between Wal-Mart brand and the origanl Crocs.

I also have some I bought in black at the flea market they fell great. I only paid 6 buck for them. They from China just as the orignal does. Yes i have seen the origanl Crocs label for myself it does say China on there.

I would try them ans see which ones you like the best fit for yourself.

Jcpennys is now selling a knock off brand for crocs - no name on them and they are soooooo HARD color and style of mule though is the same...I won't stray from the original ugly or not they are a life saver for sore feet! :thumbsup2

Ok Thanks for the replies -- I will check the kids sizes at my payless and see if they are working out better -- Yes I do have a small foot - thin too ( I can wear kids size 4 or ladies size 5.5-6 )

Another vote for the original CROCS only. We have tried the others and like the other posters have said, they are much harder. I can't even imagine being at the park all day in those. That said, I do own a pair of the Airwalk kind from Payless, because they came in pink/yellow tie-dye. My daughter came up with the perfect name for my Payless shoes ..... she has dubbed them "Croc-offs" instead of "knock-offs".

Quick question for you Croc lovers. I slipped my foot into one in Dillards a few days ago and it *hurt*! The ribbed pattern on the inside of shoe really rubbed and the thought of walking on that all day didn't seem possible. Are all of you wearing socks? Possibly thick socks? :confused3

I agree with the majority here. Definitely invest in the original - knockoffs are never as good. I have 2 pairs of CROCS and I love them. I tried on knock-offs at Target and Walgreens but I am so glad I went with real CROCS. It is not worth saving some money to get something "like" the original.

I have wide feet, and i tried on a pair at Beall's outlet and my foot SWAM in them. Are they supposed to be this wide?

No! They shouldn't hurt at all. From the second I tried a pair on there was no rubbing at all. They are roomy - not swimming - and soft as butter. I have never worn socks with mine - but haven't gone to Disney with them yet. I have 2 pairs of the Beach CROCS and I wear a 6 1/2 M - the small 6-7 is perfect.
