Waking up Tinker Bell

I've read that you can wake up tinker bell in the castle. We have first opening for my PS at CRT and was wondering what time they'll let us in and get the chance to wake her up? We have PS for 8:05. I was told they would let us in at the gates about 20 minutes before my PS. Does that sound right?

I may be wrong, but I don't think this happens in the castle. I'm pretty sure it happens at the Tinkerbell shop behind the castle.

My DD7 did this on our trip last year. It happen in Tinkerbell's Treasures behind the castle. You don't have early access to that part of the park (there is a rope across the walkway through the tunnel). The rope is dropped when the rest of the park opens. You need to be waiting at the rope and run to Tinkerbell's when they drop it. Once you're in Tinkerbell's ask one of the CM's if you can wake Tinkerbell.

We had a 8:10 am PS but we were one of the first groups seated. We finished our meal, had time with all of the princesses and still made it to the rope before it dropped.

We made it to the rope before it dropped recently hoping to wake up tink. We were the first ones in the store and were told that Tink wasn't there, as she had gone to never never land. There were several families behind us hoping wake up tink as well.

I hadn't heard of Tink not being available before so maybe this was a rare situation.

That's strange... we woke Tink up last week (11/23). Since my sister and her friend are older (teenagers) and there was another family with little children... we shared with the other family. (I don't think the CM's liked this very much)
We had PS at CP for 8:10... we each had two plates (pigged out a little) and made it in plenty of time to get to the rope under the castle. Once the rope dropped... we quickly walked (ran) into the store.
My suggestion to families with young children... do not tell the kids that you are going to do this, b/c if someone else beats you to it... you can shop around, leave the store and try again another day. If the kids know and they're not the first guests to ask, they will be greatly disappointed.

I took my 4 yr old cousin and as we entered the store a few girls were leaving so we thought we were to late. I asked anyway and the very nice CM put tink back to sleep and let my cousin wake her up again.
