Waking up the Tiki Room Birds?

For my birthday this June (which is during our Disneymoon), we are going to do a tour of the more classic attractions for a day.

Thinking about these attractions, I was wondering if anybody has ever "woken up" the birds in the Tiki Room? I read somewhere online if you ask the CM & if you're extra nice they may let you do the wake up call... Has anyone experienced this or is it another "Andy's Coming!" type thing?

Just quietly ask the CM in the pre-show area when you enter for the waterfall pre-show.

At this point, given the quality of the current Tiki Birds show, I think some of us might enjoy SHOOTING the Tiki Birds more than waking them up.
