we are staying opp wet/wild ,is at worth leaving the car at the hotel and walking to usf ,if so how far is it

It's a lo-o-ong walk. I'd say a minimum of 45 minutes, maybe longer.

It can be done though.

Drive the car and don't pay to park in the WnW lot. You still end up walking a block. There is a Days Inn hotel directly across the street from the WnW entrance on I-Drive. Park in the back away from the street behind the restaurant, so it seems like you're staying at the hotel. Noone will mess with your car.

How would that get them from their hotel that is across from Wet and wild over to US/IOA?

No way! We've walked it in half that time, I wouldn't recommend anyone do it if they have kids though, especially in the heat.

Kelly tends to stroll...stopping every now and again to smell the roses...

'course, there aren't so many roses on that route...exhaust fumes, maybe.

I didn't realize they charged you to park at W&W, on a side note. I just never noticed them charging when I've driven by. Hmmm. How much do they charge?

Typhoon Lagoon and Blizzard Beach don't charge... :p

Doesn't the hotel offer a courtesy shuttle? I would think they would...

Karen :smooth:

Do yourself a favor and drive to USO. The walk back to your hotel after a long day at the park will not be a pleasant one.

LOL @ the exhaust fumes bit - soooo right :)

I think the parking at WnW is $6/$7 I can't remember, it was October since I was there;) that was waaay too long ago :(

The last time I was there Wet n Wild parking was $6.

We were staying at the Hampton Inn at Universal Blvd, and Sand lake.

I did see some people venturing the walk, and going up the (I4? I think) overpass.... and they were looking tired.
