Wake up Calls

I seem to recall a service a few years ago where you could get a wake up call in your room from Mickey?

Does this still exist and is it offered at Pop?

Just call the front desk and Mickey will call you in the am..."There's big doins going on!"

actually you just need to call the operator since they would be the one to set it up for you.

Some of the resorts actually have a button on the in-room telephone that states "Wake-Up Call" (or something along those lines). If your resort has that button, press it and it will walk you through the process of setting up a wake-up call. I can't remember if the PC has that button on its phone, however. If it doesn't, then dial "O" for the Operator. They will set up the wake-up call for you.

I haven't stayed on site in a while, I'm really excited. We're doing Pop Century this December for a quick trip (we were actually there in Feb, but stayed off site at a time share).

Now we have APs so I'm hoping we get to stay somewhere on site next year again, for a short trip; looking at AKL, WL and POR.

So many resorts...so few frequent flyer miles.

hehe...whenever we get a wakeup call, DH will answer the phone and just hang it up again.

I'll nudge him and say "Mickey told you to get your butt outta bed! now move!" heheheh

At the Poly and the WL there is a button on the phone that says wake up call. It is an automated system and you do not talk to anyone to do it. We always get wake up calls every day at WDW but I set them to when I know we will be awake! We do not need one to actually wake up but we all like this part of Disney. I set it every night and one of us gets to answer the phone every morning. Some phones are speaker phones. In that case we all get to hear it! "Wake up pal. There's big doins today so lets get moving! " What geeks we are! LOL!
