i am soooo bored.....family went to Bonanza, i stayed home.......doctor has me on 1000 calories.................... for those of you who dont know............that is not much. now they are out watering flowers. its 95 degrees here in central pa...go figure. they can stand out there as long as they want............................. then they are going to stake out a site to watch the city fireworks. they are going at 7:30, the fireworks dont go off till 9:40.....................i wont wait that long for anything so i will be here alone again.........well........i got the mutt...... to top it off work is closed tomorrow and it will be 95 again. three days off in a row is just too much............................. i think i may have a pomagranite martini or so later................granddaughter just cracked her head on the sidewalk....screaming bloody murder........she was warned. looks like she will live........ my daughter just started chewing a piece of watermellon gum...god i hate that smell..................................... there they go back outside for round two with the sidewalk. i could turn the tv on but the remote is clear across the room............................hmmm...maybe later. oh, just bought a new 2011 camry for wife last week, zero percent for 60 months, cant beat that. we dont drive it. no one wants to be the one to get the first door ding...................................... apparently the flowers are happily watered cause everyone just came trouping back in................ i think it is time for that martini.........................

that is how i felt writing it. it was completley innocent and was acted on by an outside force and turned into contraversy.

OP, thread was a little Snarktastic and could be easily misunderstood. I think Nikki was concerned more than anything and unloading on folks like that is not in good form.

let me get this straight.....she "unloaded" on me, i fired back and you are telling me it is not in good form but letting her slide. also snark generally has to have a recipient i was by no stretch of the imagination directing the original post at anyone but myself so how could it be "snarktastic"

I pretty much read it the way he re-wrote it as well. I figured his granddaughter was fine and he was just describing the chaos going on around him at the time. I think if his granddaughter would have been seriously hurt his daughter would not be taking the time to start chewing gum. And in all fairness he did say "she will live " which implied that all was well and nothing serious was wrong. All kids fall down on the sidewalk at one time or another. Some kids react as if it is the end of the world while others just get up and brush themselves off and continue on with what they were doing.
