Waits for new Frozen stage show?

So does anyone have thoughts on what these will look like? Reasonable like the other stage shows? Or waiting for hours like the MK M&G?

I have no idea how large the theatre is.

We leave Tuesday and I am debating altering our plans to be at DHS on either Saturday or Sunday, but I'm not really keen on spending the whole day in line. So I probably won't :(

Considering how the M&G has been, I would not assume reasonable waits.

I think someone in the Star Wars Weekend thread mentioned that the Premier Theater seats about 1,000 people. So I would probably assume that (even with seven shows per day) you'll still want to get in line about an hour before showtime. That's just a guess though.

Is it an actual show with live characters? For some reason I thought it was a singalong like they do in the cinemas in uk. Very glad if live characters.

That queue is mostly shaded, but it's super hot with areas of little air flow. The theater itself is air conditioned. I am guessing lines for this will be like they were for Mark hamill. Hopefully if it is that popular, they will broadcast it elsewhere too. Guess we'll all find out soon!

Lines are going to be loooooooong... The theater fits 1000 people. The Fantasmic seats 9000. Now there will be more showings per day so that will help. I'm betting waits of at least two hours.

I don't think I have ever noticed that theater !

It's the old Hunchback theater. Years ago it was an outdoor theater. It's since been enclosed and is an indoor theater. It's housed SWW shows and Christmas shows.

The queue begins across the street in the extended Muppet's queue that isn't used anymore. They will close off the street right before they let people in. In between they will re-open the street to let people pass and stop the line from moving. Then close of the street again to restart filling the theater.

Cannot wait to see what they do with this, and hope it is still there in the fall. Hope they have FP for this because it's going to be crazy standby times, at least in 2014. Of course it would be tier 1 so, it will be a choice to see this show, or ride Toy Story Midway Mania. Toy Story FP could actually become available after 9:30AM again!

My long-term hope for a Frozen stage show is they put it in American Idol Experience theater, I believe this has a better capacity and location for such a show, and said as much months ago. Never was great fan of Idol.

I love we're prognosticating about a show no one knows anything about yet, rolling eyes at my own self right now...

Is there an official tips thread for the Frozen summer fun at DHS? I'm going the first day, July 5th and would be happy to start one if there isn't.

FP+ for that theater for SWW didn't work the way most guests would have liked. It only guaranteed the FP+ holder a seat. Most times, those in standby were seated BEFORE those in the FP+ line. Disney's blog said there will not be FP+ for the show.

When we went to see Mark Hamill on Fri and Saturday. We were standby (but with a wrist band) for Friday. We were seated in the 2nd to last row. On Saturday we did the FP+ and ended up in the exact same seats as the day before in the 2nd to last row. There was no benefit to FP+ for that show. Both FP+ and the standby wristband reserved a seat.

I'm wondering if they will do wristbands for standby like they did for MH's show? I hope so. That way people will be guaranteed a seat if they have the wristband. It really helped to cut down on the chaos. There was no reason to wait hours in advance, because if you had a wristband, you knew you were getting into the show.

American Idol is closing its doors in January. http://www.orlandosentinel.com/trav...studios-american-idol-20140616,0,5785134.post
