Waitlisting from an existing reservation

Hello. I have a 1 bedroom reservation at BWV for June, but would like to change it to a 2 bedroom. If only 1 night is available, can i modify the existing reservation to a waitlist for a 2 bedroom? I used points expiring in August 24 to make the existing reservation and want to make sure those are aplied first. I have extra points in the current use year to pay for the difference, but they need to he banked by 3/31.

Don’t modify and change the current reservation because if you take the one night, it releases the 1 bedroom

Just go in to make a new one for the 2 bedroom, and set it to replace the 1 bedroom. Waitlists are all or nothing so even if one night is there, it won’t hold it for you.

Now, if it doesn’t come through by March 31st and you want to bank the extra points, make sure to cancel the waitlist, or you could risk they borrow your 2025 points to fill it.

Be sure to screenshot not to borrow if thst is what you choose so if them mess up, you have proof you said not to do it.
