waitlist

looking at several resorts that have only 1 or 2 days open during the week i am looking for. how do you wait list them. don't see how to do it. can you only waitlist a resort if it has no rooms available. other resorts have a waitlist you can hit to start the request

You book the nights you can get and use two waitlist to find a villa to match what you already booked. I had a three night stay last Dec. I made the reservation in January, but had to cancel it. When I found out I could still go, I went to book the three nights again. All I could get was the middle night. So I booked that and waitlisted the other two nights as two single night reservations. It is easier to get shorter stays than longer stays. Both nights came through, but at different times. I also stalked the RAT to see if I could find either night that way.
