Waitlist with a Split Stay question.

I have never done a waitlist before now, so I'm not sure how they work with a split stay. Right now we had to do a split stay because a studio was not available for all 4 nights of our stay. We currently have 2 nights in a 1 bedroom at AKL and 2 nights in a studio at AKL. I would prefer 4 nights in a studio somewhere so we don't have to switch rooms. I'd prefer Bay Lake, or Beach Club or somewhere that is more points so i won't lose too many points (WE had to borrow points for this vacation so any that we don't use we'll lose).
How does it work for the waitlist with a split stay like this? Right now I have 2 separate reservations, and we got the dining plan for 1 of the reservations. How will it effect our dining plan?
Thank you!

If you end up staying 4 nights on one reservation you'll need the dining plan for 4 nights.

You will not lose your restaurant reservations when making changes to your room reservation.

Have a great vacation!

I'm sorry, but I'm still a little confused.. How do I wait list with a split stay? Do I waitlist for 4 nights on one of the reservations and then if it comes through will it cancel both reservations? I need to use the points i have from both of these reservations because they are borrowed points and I don't have any more i this use year. Thank you for your help

If I were you, I'd waitlist the first two nights in an AKL studio (better chance of 2 nights coming through than 4, and you already have the second two nights in AKL studio, which you are fine with).

Then I'd waitlist the whole four nights in a studio somewhere else. You have to decide whether you'd like a greater chance of the waitlist coming through (OKW, SSR) or lower chance of it coming through but place that will take more points so you don't lose them (BLT, etc.).
