My DH, 10 yo DS, and I have been planning to take my side of the family to WDW in late May/early June 2020, ever since we bought
DVC in 2017. We decided on a GV at OKW. I've been planning, stalking the availability calendar, and when I finally went to book, the first two nights of our trip were not available, but they were available the day before, when Southwest flights came out. On November 2, 2019, I booked the last four nights in the OKW GV, and a 2BR at GFV for the first two nights; waitlisted the first two nights. I've continued to check the availability calendars daily. Well, today (2/11/2020) was our lucky day! We got a call from Member Services telling us that our waitlist went through and they wanted to confirm that we wanted to cancel our 2BR at GFV. I feel like I am on a Disney High right now. I am so excited that my family can just settle in to our home at OKW for 6 nights, and not have to pack up everything. Now, off to rearrange dining plans to better suit location of OKW!
