Waitlist Success, but....

Why don't they notify you?? I was just playing around and thought I would check our reservation for December. And what do my wondering eyes see,

Our waitlist for AKL-Savanna view has come thru!!!!!

I'm really excited , but am curious why they don't notify you. I can't seem to see when it came thru.

I had a waitlist come through a couple of months ago, I got an e-mail with the new reservation #.

Me too, though I noticed my WL came through on the member website and the e-mail with reservation # came a few days later.

Mine came right away. I made a waitlist request one afternoon and got the e-mail the next morning that it came through. It was for AKV, 3 of the 4 nights were available online when I made the request, so the 4th night came through.

Each time I've gotten a waitlist I've gotten an email.

Contact from DVC is a mixed bag, Sometimes you get notified, sometimes you don't.

I had lengthy discussions with Member Satisfaction on this issue and it was determined that the CM has to request that the email be sent.

I made 2 reservation changes and the CM said that I would receive 2 emails, I received 1.

We got an email at the same time they our waitlist came through.....I was checking everyday and nothing, the next day I got an email with a new ressie number and I checked online and there it was.

I usually get my wait list e-mail confirmation 3-5 days after it's been filled.

Found the date that it was done was 9-24-13. Will give it another day or two. If nothing, then I will just call.

This last week my DVC friend, who had me on a wait list for an AKV stay, said she hadn't received an email when wait list was granted. When we were on the call with MS to add my other guest names, she asked about it. She was told that her email had not been added to the wait list request and that the rep should have added it when the wait list request was called in.

I have not been notified many more times than I have been notified. For me, it's not an issue because stalking the website is part of the fun.
