Waitlist-So what happens next?

I did my first waitlist for this coming Dec and am wondering how I am notified when or if it comes through. Does is show on the website? Should I be calling everyday to check? It doesn't show "waitlist" by my reservation online. Should it?

Unfortunately for now at least, the only way to know if your waitlist came through is by checking your vacations on the website. You may get a e-mail notice, since they are now sending e-mail reservations if you request it, rather than ones in the mail. I've not had any waitlists come through recently, but I keep checking and whenever I am calling MS for some other reason, I always ask if my waitlist is still in place.

Thanks Bobbiwoz! I think calling sounds like a good idea. I don't know why I have it in my head that "maybe" they didn't do the waitlist. I am not usually such a control freak!!

I didn't like either that it didn't show the wait list on line. I kept thinking; did they did really put it down? However I did get an e-mail as soon as it came through. Prior to e-mail I checked often on line but didn't see it till I got the e-mail but probably didn't check at the right time.
