Waitlist Question

Currently in December (not sharing exact dates) we are in a 1 BR at one resort for 5 nights and then moving to another resort in a 1 BR for 3 nights.

I currently have a waitlist at resort 1 to replace resort 2 for the last 3 nights if it comes available. If I were to do a waitlist for resort b to replace a for the first 5 nights can MS put a note on the waitlist to only process if the other waitlist also doesn't match? I'd hate for them to both match and then be back in the same situation we were in. We don't have enough points to process a waitlist w/o cancelling one part of the split.

I know 5 nights is unlikely to match, but the stays are at the most likely to match resorts. I'm tired of stalking the site...

I would do 2 waitlists to replace resort 2 - one waitlist for 2 nights and the other waitlist for one night. That way you are more likely to catch the nights you need.

Yes, you can ask them to put a note on the waitlist to only fill if the matching resort is still booked for the other dates. Just be sure to ask them to note it on both.

I might even do this via email and chat/call.

The way our points are this wouldn't have worked, however we've now gotten it to where we just need 1 night at OKW in a 1 BR.
