Waitlist Question

I have waitlisted the Beach Club for Sept 11- 17. Three of the days are available- but the others are not. Will my waitlist guarantee the three available days- and then wait for the remaining the days, or do \i have to wait until all the days are available before all the dates will be guaranteed.

In other words should I reserve the days that are available and waitlist only the ones that are unavailable?

The wait list is not going to hold those nights for you on the off chance that the remaining nights will open up. You will be skipped over in favor of a member who wants those exact night(s).

This is what you should do. As above, the WL won't hold nights for you. Book the 3 nights that are available and then modify your WL. Keep watching for the other nights to become available, and book them if they do, then modify your WL again. Once you get all your nights, you can chat/email/call MS to combine them all into one reservation.

Yes, do this if you have enough points to hold both reservations and enough time to cancel without points going into holding.

To add, once you book the nights you have, make a new waitlist for the remaining nights so you don’t end up double booked and of course your chances improve.

And always keep checking yourself. I have had July 2nd for Std studio at BLT waitlisted for quite a while (booked std studio at Boardwalk to at least have a room). When I was checking last night I saw it was available, so I grabbed it myself by modifying the Boardwalk reservation and then cancelled my waitlist.
