Waitlist question

Are you only able to set up a waitlist if the resort room you want is completely not available for your time?

This is what i am trying to do. We have a 2BR at OKW booked 11/22-11/29. I would like to put in a waitlist for the "near hospitality house" 2BR. Currently the OKW HH 2 BR are available for only a few days in the middle of my stay so it doesn't let me put in a waitlist. But any other 2BR on property which are completely booked have the waitlist notation.

Once you open the calendar after searching, just choose all you dates again and it will show as a waitlist For you to book

That's odd. Must be a glitch. Have you tried clearing cache & cookies, restarting your device & then trying again? Or another browser or device?

If that doesn't work, I'd just call MS. Wait times haven't been too bad lately (reportedly).

It will always show what days are available first so you have to choose your dates again, and then It allows the waitlist.
