I already have a studio at BWV for 11/13-17 that is 61 points using and then am moving to AKL when the rest of my family comes for vacation. I'm taking my two little ones out the week before and while my husband, who is coming out on the 17th loves AKL, I'm ready to try something new, which is why the first part of the trip is at BWV. Okay, so here's the deal...
Part of the other family is now coming on 11/14. They can use their timeshare and get a place off-site until we all come together at AKL on the night of the 17th but I thought I'd check to see if I could either get another studio for them OR get a 2 bedroom place for us to share until the 17th.
The other catch is that only have 69 points left to use.
When I looked online for 11/14-17, I can get them SSR in a studio for the three nights. But I thought having them stay at the same place I will be would be great except for it's not available for all three nights. How likely is it that I would get the middle date to come through? OR is it best to click the link at the right that says to waitlist the entire listing?
OKAY, other thought, we get a 2-bedroom stay for the 13th through 17th. BUT I can't find a reservation online that has the four nights except for SSR and OKW, neither of which sound exciting, but maybe I'm wrong. So, to try to waitlist something that seems more exciting like VWL or BWV, how can I do that since I would have to cancel my current studio and use those points? Is it best to just keep checking back online? And if I DO see something online, how can I get it seeing as how I would have to cancel the one reservation in order to get enough points online? Call Member Services in a hurry?
