Waitlist question

I have booked a vacation for some friends for their honeymoon in October 2011 about 10 days... Right now I have them booked at Saratoga..... But I really want them to get into the beach club. I already added a waitlist for beach club.

When I was placed on the wait the member service person said, only one day was not avaiable.... a saturday night. So she thought I would have a good chance of getting my waitlist accomindated.

My concerns is that my wait list is being held by 1 day... they will be there for 4 days prior.. and 5 days after that one day is booked. But I am thinking that other people could start booking those free days up.

Anyone have any input into if you think my waitlist will become full filled?

I would snap up the 9 days available and waitlist the 1 missing.

Hmm, well, if you really want them to be at BCV and are only missing the one night, I would definitely grab the other nights and hope the WL comes through. Would they mind moving if they had to?

I think your chances of getting 10 nights at BCV in October is super slim. Like the others have said, if you really want BCV for them, book the 9 nights and waitlist the one or maybe waitlist the first 5 at BCV and book the 2nd 5 at BCV. That is of course if they are willing to change resorts. But yes others calling for just a few of those days will snag them before your waitlist fills.
