Waitlist Question

I have read different threads about people calling daily to check on their waitlist. Does calling MS often about the waitlist help your chances in anyway? We waitlisted BLT 1 BR LV for Sept 19-26 six months ago and I'm hoping it comes through. Thanks

Only if you have a multiple night stay waitlisted. Here is why:
Say you have a week waitlisted. That waitlist comes through when all nights open up. You should call every day and ask about the individual nights. If you have the points, reserve the individual nights as they open up and piece your vacation together. I just did this for our last minute October reservation and finally got all nights last week.

I have been on a wait list since April for our Oct trip. We are in a 2 bedroom at SSR and wait listing for BCV and BWV. So far it hasn't come thru. I have been calling every couple of days to see if any of the days have opened up. Not one day has opened up. It is the F&W Fest which is always a busy time for DVC members.
